THE SIGNIFICANCE OF MUTATIONS IN THE INTERLEUKIN-1B GENE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ATONIC POSTPARTUM HEMORRHAGE
Keywords:
T-31C polymorphism, IL1B gene, genetic markers, autoamplification, atonic postpartum hemorrhageAbstract
In our study the association of T-31C polymorphism in the IL1B gene and risk of atonic postpartum hemorrhage in women of Uzbek nationality were identified. 101 women with postpartum atonic bleeding were studied. An association with the T-31C polymorphism in the IL1B gene was identified. Carriers of the heterozygous genotype T/C tend to develop atonic PPH, which has not statistical significance.
