CURRENT STATE OF FORENSIC MEDICAL DIAGNOSTICS OF INJURIES RESULTING FROM FALLS FROM A MOVING VEHICLE (LITERATURE REVIEW)
Keywords:
car injury, loss, damage, nature, mechanism, diagnostics, forensic aspectsAbstract
The article presents the results of a review of the literature on the forensic aspects of injuries associated with people falling out of the passenger compartment (body) of a moving car. Attention is drawn to the sharp reduction in this type of automobile injury at the present time, due to the increasing requirements for compliance with traffic rules and improvement in the design of the body and interior of modern cars. At the same time, it is emphasized that there is insufficient scientific development to substantiate the mechanism of injuries associated with falls and its differential diagnosis from other types of mechanical injury. In this regard, this condition requires further improvement based on a retrospective analysis of the results of forensic medical examinations with more reliable information about the circumstances of the accident.
