IMPROVING METHODS FOR THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF PERIODONTITIS IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC VIRAL HEPATITIS

The article presents the results of a comprehensive clinical and immunological study of the periodontal condition in patients with chronic viral hepatitis B and C. Improved methods for the prevention and treatment of chronic generalized periodontitis were developed using immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory agents. The effectiveness of the proposed complex of measures has been proven, ensuring a decrease in inflammation, normalization of salivary enzyme levels, and stabilization of the clinical condition of patients.
