Abstract

The study results indicate pronounced territorial differences in the physical development indicators of children depending on their place of residence. Children living in rural areas differed from urban schoolchildren by relatively more harmonious physical development parameters. The Bostanlyk district was characterized by a predominance of harmonious physical development and a relatively low prevalence of overweight and obesity, whereas in children from the industrial city of Chirchik the structure of nutritional disorders shifted toward overnutrition and obesity.
