CONDITION OF PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC HEART FAILURE ON THE BACKGROUND OF LONG-TERM OUTPATIENT FOLLOW-UP

Objective: to study the state of central hemodynamics in elderly patients according to echocardiography in order to identify the preclinical phase of chronic heart failure.
Materials and methods: The study included patients aged 65-75 years (average age 76.17±3.29 years) who underwent coronary artery stenting after a myocardial infarction (40 patients) and patients who remained on standard therapy for coronary heart disease after a myocardial infarction (40 patients). The nature of postoperative changes in echocardiographic values was evaluated.
Results: During the study, it was found that in elderly people who had coronary artery stenting, there was a significant decrease in the left ventricular ejection fraction compared to the group that remained on standard therapy for coronary HEART disease. In patients with myocardial infarction who underwent coronary artery stenting, despite the preserved systolic function of the left ventricle, the value of the left ventricular ejection fraction was significantly lower than in the comparison group.
Conclusion: The issue of coronary artery stenting in elderly patients should be carefully discussed, especially when there is a comorbid pathology. It is necessary to conduct studies aimed at long-term follow-up of patients after PCI, as well as to confirm or exclude chronic heart failure, all patients should study the level of natriuretic peptide.
