DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF ACUTE PURULENT-DESTRUCTIVE PNEUMONIA IN CHILDREN

Acute purulent-destructive pneumonia in childhood is accompanied by the development of pulmonary-pleural complications, which are diagnosed in 26,5-60,0 % of cases. Despite the improvement of antibacterial and accompanying therapy, the results of traditional methods of treatment of acute purulent-destructive pneumonia are not always satisfactory. Early diagnosis and choice of rational methods of treatment of children with this pathology are actual problems of paediatric surgery.
