IMPACT OF IMMOBILIZATION METHOD ON THE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH FRACTURES OF THE LOWER JAW

The article presents the results of a study of the pain component of 46 patients with fractures of the lower jaw. The pain component when using a standard bandage for immobilization and treatment of jaw fractures tends to decrease, which is confirmed by the results of assessment on a visual analogue scale. A standard bandage for immobilization and treatment of jaw fractures can be recommended as an additional method of immobilization and fixation for jaw fractures.
