FEATURES OF DAMAGE TO THE STRUCTURE OF THE CHEST, ABDOMEN AND PELVIS IN PASSENGERS OF MODERN VEHICLES VICTIMS IN TRANSPORT TRAUMA

In the conditions of modern intra-automotive trauma, injuries to the injured passengers are dominated by injuries to the structure of the chest and abdomen with the development of bilateral rib fractures, contusions and ruptures of the lungs, as well as the heart and thoracic aorta, liver and spleen. Complications of which - hemo-pneumothorax and massive internal bleeding - are the direct causes of death for victims in the earlier period of combined polytrauma.
