FOUNDATIONS OF IMMUNOPATHOGENESIS OF RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS: REVIEW OF LITERATURE
Keywords:
: rheumatoid arthritis, autoantigens, pathogenesis, cytokines.Abstract
In our article, the immunological changes observed in RA are important insights into the main mechanisms of the onset and progression of the disease. Antititans against rheumatoid factor (RF) and antititans against cyclic citrulline peptide (anti-CCP) in the pathogenesis of RA cause this inflammation and joint damage. There have also been reports of dysregulation of T cells, especially their anti-inflammatory subpopulations, and abnormal immune reactions observed in Ra.
