One of the most common pathologies among dental diseases in children with disabilities are periodontal diseases and their complications. The results of numerous studies are health and, in parallel, the extremely negative effect of the chronic infectious and inflammatory process in the soft tissues of the periodontium on the accumulation of risk factors that lead to the transition of periodontal diseases into a more severe and difficult to correct disease – diffuse periodontitis - one of the most common periodontal diseases.
