This article contains a creative conversation with Bahadir Nazarov, chief director of the State Musical Theater of Uzbekistan named after Mukimiy, laureate of international state awards named after. Ahmed Yasawi, Mirzo Babur and the Order of “Mehnat Shuhrati”. The creative activity of the director is analyzed on the example of historical performances, in particular the play "Tomaris".
