Abstract

The article presents the results of a study on the species and quantitative composition of the oral microflora in patients with aphthous stomatitis. Pronounced dysbiotic changes were identified, characterized by a decrease in the number of resident microflora and an increase in the proportion of opportunistic and pathogenic microorganisms. A correlation was established between the degree of microbial imbalance and the severity of inflammatory changes in periodontal tissues.
