Несмотря на бурное развитие стоматологии и достижения в области профилактики заболеваний лица и челюсти, имплантологии и лечения стоматологических заболеваний, количество пациентов с протезами со съемными ортопедическими конструкциями остается высоким, а спрос на протезы растет по мере старения пациентов из-за увеличения числа дефектов.
