A SIGNIFICANT STUDY OF BAZM-U RAZM, OR THE POEM OF LIFE AND JOY, IN UZBEK LITERATURE

This article examines the history of the soqiynoma genre, its genre-specific features, poetics, and genesis, based on the monograph of the young scholar Maqsud Asadov. The study analyzes the development of the soqiynoma genre, which holds a significant place in Eastern poetry and has evolved under the direct influence of irfanic and Sufi traditions. It also explores the formal and semantic components of the genre, as well as its stages of development. The research highlights a number of theoretical and aesthetic issues related to the soqiynoma genre and presents well-grounded scholarly views on its characteristics. The main objective of the article is to identify the genre features of poetic forms in classical Eastern literature-such as shahroshub, soqiynoma, mughanninoma, tarji‘at, marsiya, musammat, and other similar poetic cycles—as well as to determine their historical evolution and establish the theoretical and literary canons associated with these genres.
