Trigeminal neuralgia is one of the problematic issue of both neurology and maxillofacial surgery.
Traditional treatment of trigeminal neuralgia does not always meet the expectations of doctors and patients, then the surgical approach may become the only one in the treatment of this pathology.
Early tooth removal, puncture of the maxillary sinus or catheterization of the maxillary sinus with subsequent irrigation with antiseptics and complex therapy contribute to a rapid reduction in the symptoms of the inflammatory process and an improvement in the general condition of patients with subacute osteomyelitis. Surgical intervention carried out jointly with otolaryngologists, using endoscopic technology allows you to get both a cosmetic and functional result.
