ACTIVITIES AND PROSPECTS OF POND FISHERIES IN KASHKADARYA REGION

Industrial development of fisheries in Uzbekistan began in the 30s of the last century. Today, along with other major branches of agriculture, fishing has become a profitable branch of the national economy. Fisheries in Uzbekistan are mainly engaged in increasing the stock of fish in water bodies and improving their quality. In order to develop fisheries in our republic, the use of intensive methods, selection works, research and breeding of breed fish species, and providing our people with quality fish products by improving nutrition are becoming one of the main issues.
