Abstract

The purpose of the study was to highlight the forensic aspects of sexual abuse of girls and adolescent girls with the definition of the prospects for research in this direction. Research materials: the analysis of the scientific literature of recent years on the studied problem is carried out. Scientific articles were found by searching in MEDLINE and web Science, as well as by collecting links from relevant articles. It has been established that the nature, volume and severity of genital injuries in girls and girls affected by sexual violence are very polymorphic, and the time of their healing varies significantly depending on their age. Results of the study: it is emphasized that to date, no uniform criteria have been developed for determining the prescription of violations of the integrity of the hymen in adolescent girls and girls, taking into account their age, population, anatomical type of gemin and socio-geographical living conditions. These circumstances require further improvement of the forensic medical examination of adolescent girls and girls affected by sexual violence in order to establish the prescription of ruptures of the hymen, depending on their age categories and populations. Conclusion: the nature, volume and severity of genital injuries in girls and girls affected by sexual violence are very polymorphic, and the time of their healing varies significantly depending on their age.
