ULTRASOUND PATTERNS INDICATING OSTEOCHONDRAL CHANGES IN MEDIUM AND SMALL JOINTS OF THE EXTREMITIES VARY AMONG THE PRIMARY TYPES OF ARTHROPATHY

To identify typical ultrasound manifestations of osteochondral abnormalities associated with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), reactive arthritis (ReA), gouty arthritis (GdA), osteoarthritis (OA), articular involvement in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), systemic scleroderma (SSc), and psoriatic arthropathy (PsA) in the early stages of the disease process, and to monitor their progression, arthrosonography was conducted on 540 patients presenting with joint symptoms using state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment.
