STUDY OF MORPHOLOGICAL MANIFESTATIONS OF EOSINOPHILIC ESOPHAGITIS

The authors studied the clinical, endoscopic and morphological features in 80 patients with eosinophilic esophagitis. According to the study, it was found that patients with eosinophilic esophagitis may experience clinical symptoms and morphological changes even in cases where endoscopic changes are not observed. Considering that eosinophilic esophagitis has a multifocal nature, it has been studied that taking a biopsy from different parts of the esophageal mucosa contributes to early and accurate diagnosis of the disease, and an increase in the amount of histological material increases its diagnostic value. sensitivity.
