Abstract

The article is devoted to optimization of surgical treatment of recurrent forms of liver echinococcosis. The study analyzed 102 patients who underwent echinococcectomy, identified relapse factors and developed new technical solutions. Improved methods of cyst contents aspiration and residual cavity treatment aimed at reducing the risk of complications and improving long-term results are described. The introduction of new surgical technologies has reduced the incidence of postoperative complications, including suppuration and biliary fistulas, and increased the effectiveness of radical removal of parasitic cysts.
