ISOLATED LATERAL SURGICAL APPROACH FOR VERTEBRAL BODY TUMORS WITH EXTRADURAL INTRACANAL INVASION AT Th11–L2 LEVELS
Keywords:
spinal tumors; lateral approach; thoracolumbar junction; decompression; corpectomyAbstract
The study evaluates the effectiveness of an isolated lateral extrapleural–retroperitoneal approach in the surgical treatment of vertebral body tumors with extradural intracanal invasion at the Th11–L2 levels. The approach provides adequate anterior decompression and stable reconstruction without the need for posterior fixation.
