Keywords:

The article examines the main types of surgical treatment of cataracts in children, including lens extraction, phacoaspiration, and phacoemulsification, with or without intraocular lens implantation, depending on the child's age and the anatomical and functional characteristics of the eye. Special attention was paid to the phased implementation of surgical intervention, including preoperative preparation, features of capsular recession, removal of lens masses, prevention of secondary cataracts, and the formation of optimal conditions for visual rehabilitation.
