ANALYSIS OF SURGICAL TREATMENT OF INTRAOCCULAR LENS SUBLUCATION IN CHILDREN

The article presents an analysis of two clinical cases of late postoperative complications following congenital cataract extraction in children, accompanied by intraocular lens (IOL) subluxation and iris involvement. Malposition of the IOL led to pupil deformation and decreased visual acuity. Clinical observation demonstrated the effectiveness of a combined surgical approach with iris repair. The study concludes that preventive iridoplasty is advisable in cases of iris capture to restore a functional pupil and prevent recurrent IOL displacement.
