Keywords:
informed consent, dentistry, patient communication, legal procedure, written form, treatment planningAbstract
This article analyzes informed consent in dentistry not only as a fundamental right of the patient but also as an effective means of practical communication. Based on legal and empirical data, the study shows that the universal recognition of consent in legislation does not automatically ensure its full and systematic application in practice. Particular attention is also paid to important aspects such as written consent forms, a clear description of the treatment steps, transparency of financial terms, and the patient's full understanding of the entire treatment process.
