Abstract

The widespread use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) is due to the pronounced anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity. Their long-term use is associated with a range of adverse effects, such as damage to the mucous membrane of the gastroduodenal zone and the development of bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract. This article presents the results of the work, which analyzed the risk factors for the development of NSAID-gastropathy, assessed treatment tactics and prevention options.
