The presented data allows the forensic expert, on the one hand, to navigate the structure of the toxic effects of the poison, and on the other hand, to establish complex signs of the main cause of death.
It should be noted that quantitative toxicometry revealed the most informative clinical and morphological signs in acute ethylene glycol poisoning and made it possible to consider this problem from a new point of view for forensic medicine and to propose a number of new objective criteria for diagnosing and assessing the severity of this chemical injury.
