IMMUNE MICROENVIRONMENT OF SOFT TISSUE SARCOMAS: THE ROLE OF T-LYMPHOCYTES AND MACROPHAGES IN PREDICTING THERAPY EFFICACY

This article is devoted to the study of the role of components of the immune microenvironment of soft tissue sarcomas, such as T-lymphocytes (CD4+, CD8+) and macrophages (CD68+), and their localization inside tumor structures. The analysis allows us to identify the relationship between the activity and localization of these immune cells and the degree of therapeutic pathomorphosis, which serves as an important prognostic marker. The results indicate that active immune infiltrates inside the tumor contribute to more pronounced morphological regression and a high degree of pathomorphosis, which correlates with positive therapeutic outcomes. At the same time, the study of localization patterns and status of immune cells provides new opportunities for prognostic assessment and development of personalized immunotherapeutic strategies. The data obtained emphasize that the parameters of the immune microenvironment can become an important tool in optimizing the treatment of soft tissue sarcomas and increasing their effectiveness.
