Keywords:
endometriosis, adenomyosis, pregnancy, obstetric complicationsAbstract
Endometriosis and adenomyosis not only cause symptoms such as dysmenorrhea, chronic pelvic pain and infertility, but have also recently been implicated in a range of obstetric complications. The association between endometriosis and adenomyosis and adverse pregnancy outcomes has been developing as a new topic in the field of reproductive medicine over the past few years. Our goal was to study the course of pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period in women with adenomyosis. Our analysis showed a high incidence of obstetric and perinatal complications in women with adenomyosis.
