Oʻpka silida bakteriyalarni koʻp miqdorda ajratilishi oʻpka toʻqimasidagi kavernoz oʻzgarishlarni va bakterial populyatsiyaning zichligini aks ettiruvchi bilvosita koʻrsatkich hisoblanadi. Keng tarqalgan dori-darmonlarga chidamli (XDR) oʻpka sili bilan kasallangan 135 bemor prospektiv ravishda tekshirildi. Tadqiqotga 18 yoshdan 65 yoshgacha boʻlgan 68 nafar erkak (45,8%) va 147 nafar ayol (67%) kiritildi. Oldindan davolangan bemorlar guruhida oʻpka XDR-silining bakteriologik xususiyatlari koʻpgina parametrlar boʻyicha sezilarli darajada aniqroq edi.
