Insoniyatning eng qadimiy hamrohi hisoblangan Helicobacter pylori bakteriyasining genom xilma-xilligi va uning dunyo bo‘ylab geografik taqsimoti tahlil qilinadi. H.pylori yuqori darajadagi genetik polimorfizm va rekombinatsiya xususiyatiga ega bo‘lib, bu uning turli populyatsiyalar oshqozon muhitiga moslashishini ta’minlaydi. Tadqiqotda bakteriya shtammlarining filogeografik guruhlanishi hpEurope, hpAfrica, hpEastAsia va ularning insoniyat migratsiyasi bilan bog‘liqligi ko‘rib chiqiladi
