Maqola prostata bezining saratonining klinik va morfologik xususiyatlarini aniqlashga bag'ishlangan. Tadqiqotlar shuni ko'rsatdiki, so'nggi paytlarda "gormonlarga rezistent" prostata saratoni holatlari ko'paygan. Xususan, prostata adenokarsinomasining morfologik diagnostikasi qiyin, saraton belgilari har doim ham aniqlanmaydi. Hozirgi vaqtda immunohistologik belgilar bazal qatlamdagi hujayralarni aniqlash uchun keng qo'llaniladi. Va immunogistokimyoviy usullar yordamida prostata adenokarsinomasi bilan ortib borayotgan ushbu belgilar darajasini aniqlash mumkin.
