Bachadon ichi kontratseptiv vositalari mashhur va samarali usullaridan biridir, ammo ularning xavfsizligi hali ham olimlar tomonidan o'rganilmoqda. Ushbu kontratseptsiya usulini qo'llashning mumkin bo'lgan salbiy oqibatlari stromaning fibroblastik transformatsiyasi, o'ziga xos bo'lmagan surunkali endometrit, kontratseptiv vositalar bilan aloqa qilish joylarida endometrium atrofiyasi, bachadon tanasidagi giperplastik o'zgarishlar, ayniqsa shilliq qavat va endometriumda "yallig'lanish" infiltratlarining mavjudligi. Bularning barchasi organizmning begona jismga biologik reaktsiyasidir. Serviksdagi tarkibiy va funktsional o'zgarishlarga alohida e'tibor beriladi.
