Insultdan keyingi afaziya bemorlar va ularning yaqinlarini tashvishga soladigan asosiy muammolardan biri hisoblanadi. Shu bilan birga, motor afaziyali bemorlarni davolash bo‘yicha samarali usullar haligacha yaratilmagan. Shu sababli afaziyalarni bilish va ularni samarali davolash usullarini o‘rganish muhimdir.
