EVALUATION OF CLINICAL AND HORMONAL DATA OF CHILDREN OF UZBEK NATIONALITY WITH PRECOCIOUS PUBER/TY

This study was conducted to investigate etiological factors, incidence of different forms, as well as clinical and hormonal characteristics of Uzbek children with Precocious Puberty from 2016 to 2023. Materials and methods: 233 children diagnosed with precocious puberty from 2016 to 2023 were reviewed using the data from Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology named after academician Y.Kh.Turakulov. Results: 219 of the children (94,0 %) were girls, 14 (6,0 %) were boys. The most common causes of precocious puberty in girls were premature telarche (70,8%) and central precocious puberty (17,35%). In boys main etiologic factor of precocious puberty was congenital adrenal hyperplasia (50,0%). Conclusion: In girls presenting with symptoms of early puberty, it is necessary to first look for isolated telarche and ICPP, in boys, we should firstly include congenital adrenal hyperplasia and organic CPP.
