THE ROLE OF THE PEDIATRIC FACULTY OF THE SAMARKAND STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY IN PERSONNEL TRAINING

Abstract

     Information is provided on the creation of the pediatric faculty of the Samarkand State Medical University. The first dean of the faculty was Prof. N.M. Kamalov.  Currently, the faculty is headed by Assoc.prof.Karabaev S.A.  The university scientists who prepared doctors and candidates of medical sciences are described in detail.  Attention is focused on scientists who have made a great contribution to the training of pediatricians.  Russian scientists have played an important role in the training of pediatricians.
