THE SIGNIFICANCE OF FERGANA CRAFTSMANSHIP IN UZBEK NATIONAL CRAFTSMANSHIP

In this article, the role of the Fergana Valley in the development of Uzbek national handicrafts is highlighted on the basis of historical and ethnographic materials. In the article, the author focused on the specific features of the valley handicrafts, master-disciple traditions, regional aspects of the handicrafts, changes that occurred in the valley handicrafts during the years of independence.
