В данной статье рассмотрено общественно-политическое положение Уструшоны в раннем средневековье, а также рядсведений по истории оазиса, упомянутых в китайских хрониках, горно-согдийских документах Муга и трудах арабо-персидских
географов, как а также исследования зарубежных и отечественных историков, анализируются автором.
