В статье анализируются экологические факторы (дефицит воды, засоление почв, влияние Аральского моря) и проблемы устойчивого регионального развития в экономике Хорезмской области. На основе статистических данных рассмотрено развитие сельского хозяйства, промышленности и туризма. Результаты исследования показывают влияние экологических ограничений на экономический рост и предлагают устойчивые альтернативы (экотуризм, водосберегающие технологии).
