CONTEMPORARY ASPECTS OF TREATMENT AND DIAGNOSTIC STRATEGIES FOR CHRONIC PANCREATITIS COMPLICATED BY WIRSUNGLITHIASIS (LITERATURE REVIEW)

The article presents a review of the literature on the modern approach to the diagnosis and surgical treatment of chronic pancreatitis complicated by wirsungolithiasis. It is noted that despite the progress in diagnosis and minimally invasive surgery, this pathology of the pancreas requires a more detailed and personalized approach. There are still many contradictions and ambiguities in the diagnosis and treatment of wirsungolithiasis. There are no large-scale prospective and randomized studies, which prevents the creation of high-quality guidelines.
