In the concept of reproductive health care, a special place is given to the problems of adolescence. In the functioning of the reproductive, endocrine and other systems at this time, the greatest stress and lability is noted. In the presence of somatic and endocrine diseases, the risk of reproductive health disorders increases significantly. In most regions of Uzbekistan, despite the ongoing preventive measures, moderate and mild iodine deficiency remains. One of the most significant is the problem of the intelligence of a person living in iodine-deficient regions, it is known that the average 10 in these territories is 10-15% below the norm. There are only a few studies to determine the relationship between thyroid pathology and menstrual dysfunction in adolescent girls. However, the questions about the influence of various forms of thyroid diseases on the girl's reproductive system, the question of the effectiveness of the effect of thyroid therapy on the restoration of menstrual function in adolescent patients remain not fully understood. The complex mutually regulating relations between the reproductive and thyroid systems substantiate the advisability of an interdisciplinary approach to studying the problem of menstrual dysfunction in combination with thyroid pathology.
