Abstract

Currently, one of the topical subjects of ophthalmology is the study of morphological features of the vitreoretinal interface. Peripheral changes encompass a range of entities, from incidental findings to retinal detachment. Therefore, diagnosis and treatment in the zone of the peripheral interface seem relevant.

With the help of optical coherence tomography, it will be possible to determine the choice of tactics and treatment of patients with PVCRD.

the use of traditional classical laser retinal photocoagulation in complicated PVCRD with traction is not always effective enough.

Application of combined treatment with IAG-laser vitreolysis provides more reliable prevention of regmatogenic retinal detachment development.
