Arterial hypertension (AH) is the main risk factor (RF) in the development of cardiovascular diseases worldwide. Almost 95% of patients have essential hypertension. In the structure of mortality from various cardiovascular diseases, including AH, 54% is myocardial infarction (MI). Currently, the widespread prevalence of AH and MI among the labor-capable population, early disability, reduced life expectancy, and low adherence to treatment are of concern.
