Abstract

The complexity of the etiology and pathogenesis of inflammatory-destructive diseases, their dependence on many factors, causes a high prevalence of both gingivitis and generalized periodontitis, reduces the effectiveness of therapeutic and preventive measures (A.V. Moskovsky, 2016; I.S. Gontareva, 2017). The cause of the pathological process in periodontal tissues are various interrelated factors, both local and general (A.K. Iordanishvili, 2016; H.P. Muller, 2019). Сonsequently, monitoring of markers of "oxidative stress" in the oral fluid will allow timely adjustment of the volume and exposure of dental care.
