CHOICE OF TREATMENT PATIENTS WITH ENDOPHTHALMITIS

The current article evaluates the timing of development, visual functions at admission and discharge, and the results of conservative and surgical treatment of endophthalmitis. The eye has effective defense mechanisms that significantly limit the inflammatory response. As a clinical research, 30 patients with endophthalmitis were examined. Correct selective treatment tactics according to the etiological possibility managed to be preserved not only as an organ but also to preserve visual functions.
