Hemorrhagic disease of newborns is a pathological condition, vitamin K deficiency syndrome, characterized by increased hypercoagulation in newborns and infants due to decreased blood coagulation factors, manifested by a reduction in the activity of vitamin K coagulation factors. The basis of the hemostatic criterion in the first stages of fetal life is dominated by various coagulation factors. The paper presents the results of anamnestic, clinical, generally accepted laboratory, paraclinical and unique methods of examination of newborns who were hospitalized in the neonatology and neonatal intensive care departments of the Samarkand Regional Children's Multidisciplinary Medical Center in the period from 2021 to 2023.
