ROLE OF HYPERCOAGULATING CONDITIONS AS THE MAIN CAUSE OF FATAL OUTCOMES IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE

The study aimed to study the causes of death of patients and study the comorbid status of patients with pathologically confirmed chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The authors found that the leading cause of death in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease was identified as hypercoagulable events, such as acute myocardial infarction and strokes. The main results of the scientific study showed that hypercoagulable hemostasis disorders are the main causes of fatal outcomes among COPD patients.
