So‘nggi yillarda avtoulovlarda shikastlanishlar ko‘paymoqda va asetabulyar sinishlar nisbati barqaror o‘sishda davom etmoqda. Bundan tashqari, ushbu turdagi jarohatlar yuqori o‘lim va nogironlik bilan tavsiflanadi. Asetabulyar sinishlarni tashxislash va davolash muammosi ko‘plab ishlarning mavzusi bo‘lgan, ammo hozirgi konservativ davo usullari etarli darajada samarali emas va ko‘pgina kamchiliklarga ega. Asetabulyar sinishlarni tashxislashda kamchiliklar ham mavjud va zamonaviy diagnostika usullarini qo'llash uchun aniq ko‘rsatmalar mavjud emas.
