Abstract

This article provides an in-depth analysis of the harmony between historical heritage and contemporary interior design, exploring the application of cultural and historical elements in modern interior art through the depictions of the seven palaces in Alisher Navoi’s renowned poem Sab’ai Sayyor. The study examines the unique architectural and aesthetic characteristics of these seven palaces, highlighting their differences in color, form, and symbolic meanings.

Each palace is based on a distinct color scheme and philosophical concept, reflecting the life experiences of the poem’s protagonist, Bahram. The article presents a comparative analysis of the visual and semantic aspects of these palaces and discusses their inspirational influence on interior design. Particular attention is given to the psychological and aesthetic impact of colors, the formation of cultural identity through ornaments and patterns, and the adaptation of historical imagery into contemporary interiors.

As a result of this analysis, the article explores how the architectural concepts of the Sab’ai Sayyor palaces can be incorporated into modern design while ensuring functional and aesthetic integration. Furthermore, it discusses the importance of preserving historical heritage and seamlessly integrating it into contemporary art, thus enriching design and imbuing it with profound cultural and spiritual meaning. Ultimately, the study highlights the impact of ancient literary and artistic heritage on interior art, emphasizing the significance of the connection between history and modernity.
