NON-TRADITIONAL APPROACH TO RECOVERY OF MOTOR FUNCTION IN PATIENTS AFTER STROKE (Literature review)
Keywords:
stroke, movement disorders, rehabilitation, reflexologyAbstract
Strokes are a major medical and social problem, being one of the leading causes of disability and mortality. The leading factor of disability in a significant number of patients is movement disorders. The methods of rehabilitation are described in sufficient detail in the world literature. However, there is insufficient information on the use of alternative treatment methods in a complex of rehabilitation measures. The article presents an analysis of literary sources devoted to the effectiveness of using alternative medicine methods for strokes, in particular reflexology, which significantly improve the quality of life of patients, as well as the mechanism of their action in this pathology.
