ANALYSIS OF LONG-TERM RESULTS OF RECURRENT GLIAL BRAIN TUMORS AFTER COMBINED TREATMENT

The aim of this work was to study the long-term results of combined treatment of patients with recurrent brain gliomas operated on in the neurosurgical department of the 1st clinic of the Samarkand State Medical University. The study included 75 patients with intracerebral tumors of the cerebral hemispheres who were treated in the neurosurgical department of the 1st clinic of the Samara State Medical University in the period from 2012 to 2021. All patients underwent surgery. According to the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the combined treatment of patients with intracerebral tumors of the cerebral hemispheres with surgical intervention and radiotherapy, chemotherapy, contributes to the lengthening of the median life expectancy of patients, and also improves their quality of life.
